To Whom It May Concern:

Omar Lima from Functional Core Fitness has informed us that they plan to donate 100% of the
proceeds from their Tough Mudder Fundraiser to Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.
These donations will provide vital support for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital’s Center for
Healthy Weight and our continued commitment to provide the finest pediatric medicine to our
community’s children. This event will be held through 2012 in various locations throughout
Northern America.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2011, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital is annually ranked as
one of the nation's best pediatric hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, and is the only San Francisco
Bay Area children’s hospital with programs ranked in the U.S. News Top Ten. The 312-bed hospital is
devoted to the care of children and expectant mothers, and provides pediatric and obstetric
medical and surgical services in association with the Stanford University School of Medicine.
Packard Children's offers patients locally, regionally and nationally a full range of health care
programs and services, from preventive and routine care to the diagnosis and treatment of serious
illness and injury. For more information, visit www.lpch.org.The Lucile Packard Foundation for
Children’s Health is the sole fundraising arm for the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

not affiliated in any way with Omar Lima or Functional Core Fitness and are not involved in the
planning, organization, or operation of this event. Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health
is a 501(c)(3) public charity addressing the special health needs of our region’s children. Lucile
